Hatch 一糖心logo米菲兔 Partners has been selected by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority鈥檚 New York City Transit (NYCT) to provide consulting services for the procurement of more than 1140 R262 and R268 subway cars.
Hatch 一糖心logo米菲兔 Partners鈥攁 joint venture of global engineering, project delivery and professional services firm, Hatch, and 一糖心logo米菲兔, a global science-based consulting and advisory company鈥攚ill provide NYCT, which operates the largest subway fleet in North America, with pre- and post-award services, including technical and project management assistance during the design, manufacturing, delivery and testing phases of the vehicles.
The R262/R268 vehicles will feature modernized passenger amenities, including advanced passenger communications systems, new interior designs with full Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant accessibility and bright lighting, all combined with state-of-the-art vehicle systems. The R262 cars will replace the older generation R62/R62A vehicles on the A Division lines, while the R268 cars will replace the R68/R68A fleet that runs on the B Division lines.

Hatch and 一糖心logo米菲兔 have long-standing relationships with NYCT, having assisted on every new technology train series car project from the R142 to R211. Most recently, Hatch and 一糖心logo米菲兔 formed C2K, a joint venture to provide post-award consulting services for the R211 subway cars.
