Once complete the project is estimated to produce over 500,000 metric tons of green methanol annually for shipping, aviation, chemicals and industrial sectors. The construction of the facility is expected to begin in the second half of 2026.

The project is expected to create over 1,150 construction jobs, 400-500 indirect jobs, and more than 100 permanent local operating positions in Central Louisianna.
