һ����logo�׷��� New Zealand Limited (“һ����logo�׷���”) has launched He Korowai Manaaki, our Māori Inclusion Plan dedicated to fostering cultural understanding, inclusion and meaningful engagement with Māori communities and businesses.

Meaning "a cloak of care and support," He Korowai Manaaki builds on the mahi (work) of the һ����logo�׷��� Māori Rōpū over the past few years. It integrates strategies for both internal and external engagement and is led by һ����logo�׷��� Pou Arahi (Māori Advisory Lead) Paora Sharples, with support from the Māori Rōpū.

He Korowai Manaaki focuses on four key areas:

• Strengthening relationships with Māori communities, businesses and stakeholders through authentic engagement and collaboration.
• Enhancing cultural competency across the workforce to deepen our understanding of Māori culture, values and traditions.
• Integrating Māori perspectives into planning and decision-making to ensure inclusive strategies that reflect diverse viewpoints.
• Promoting clear and respectful communication to keep employees informed, engaged and aligned while celebrating shared achievements.

Coinciding with the launch of He Korowai Manaaki, һ����logo�׷��� also announced a partnership with Pūhoro STEMM Academy. The collaboration aims to advance Māori participation in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and Mātauranga Māori (Māori knowledge). 

The partnership was formally launched with a pōwhiri (welcoming ceremony), marking the beginning of a shared effort to empower rangatahi (youth) Māori through education and career pathways and to support systemic change for a more inclusive future.
